Ever wandered through a city and took a look around to all the people rushing in and out of a busy shopping street? if not, you should try it sometime. Just literally stay still on the side of a busy street and look at the people around you and tell me what you see.
what I see is people in a hurry, trying to get somewhere or getting the things they think they need. I see happiness in people meeting up with friends and family, but I also see disappointment because they needed to make a choice and there were too many things to choose from and they are debating in their heads whether or not they made the right one. of course, there is the possibility that I am completely wrong and this is the opposite of what they feel and think.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that in today's busy life we often forget to appreciate the things we have.
therefore I would like to take some time right now and think about what I'm thankful for even though we do not usually celebrate thanksgiving because although we might not be living our dream yet we do have a lot to be thankful for.
I am thankful for the mother that raised me, with all the love she had, with a good sense of humour and a strong will, so I could keep going even when times are a little tough.
I am thankful for the love that I have, for Mr B and our life together. it made me realize what I want in life and appreciate the journey instead of the end goal.
We are thankful for our family and friends that love and support both me and Mr B in the good and the bad, when we're together or apart.
I am thankful for my sister and her beautiful little boy, may they receive all the love and good they deserve.
I am thankful for (and Mr B too) my ability to learn about food and homemaking, so I can continue to put delicious and nutritious food on the table and take care of me, and my family today and every day after.
I asked Mr B what he was thankful for and he as well noted all of the above, he also mentioned some other things, but let us keep those things for our imagination only.
Feel free to share the things you are thankful for with us.
We wish all of you all the love and kindness you deserve.
Yours truly,
Miss M.
